Plaspeau Co., Ltd. (‘we’, ‘us’) processes your personal information in accordance with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and other relevant laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced on the site.
1. Why we collect personal information
We process personal information for the following purposes only. We will not use collected information for any other purpose without asking you first.
- To register you on the waitlist and notify you when the storefront opens
- To verify identity, prevent abuse, and respond to your inquiries
- To analyze site usage and improve the experience
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service.
- Required: email address, connecting IP (for country detection), timestamp, service usage records
- With cookie consent: pages visited, click events, browser and device information (processed as anonymous identifiers)
3. How long we keep it
We delete personal information without delay once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. Exceptions:
- Waitlist email: until you request removal, or up to 1 year after the storefront opens
- Access logs: 3 months, per Korea's Communications Privacy Act
- Abuse records: 1 year
4. Third-party processors
To operate the service, we share the minimum required information with the following processors. We supervise them under written data processing terms.
- Supabase Inc. — database hosting (Seoul region)
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery
- PostHog Inc. — web analytics (EU region)
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and CDN
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties except with your explicit consent, or where required by law under PIPA Article 17 or an equivalent legal basis.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for web analytics. On your first visit, you'll see a banner where you can accept or decline. You can change your decision at any time by clicking ‘Manage cookies’ in the footer. Declining does not restrict your use of the site.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on processing of your personal information at any time. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to the contact below; we respond promptly.
8. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, access logging, and encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, alongside other administrative and technical safeguards.
